Ashley and I went painting today. Here is what did. The scan is making the browns look really red and dark. In fact, blame all of the color issues on the scan...Yes...twas the scanner....

We were told to draw whatever we wanted. If I could draw monsters and dumb pictures of my friends for the rest of my life, I would die happy.

Here are some environments and a character design for my latest class assignment; a mask shop in 1940s Marrakesh. I tried to keep the shapes really graphic, and concentrate on color, but in the end I like my character a LOT more than my environments. Such is the life of a pirate.
